Are you a business with employees aged 50+?

Your most valuable and experienced members of staff are usually in the 50+ age bracket, but what can you do, as an employer, to help retain this irreplaceable expertise?

Older workers are a major asset and retaining them is good for business! Not only do they have knowledge of industry practices and an organisation's structure, they are often the most reliable and hard-working.

Business owners, directors and HR professionals can access FREE support from the West Midlands Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) for guidance and tips on how to successfully encourage this experienced talent to stay.

'The FREE Mid-Life MOT' programme is now available and employers are invited to join a webinar to help identify different ways in which you can support your mature staff and retain their invaluable knowledge and experience.

This can include:

  • Flexible hours or working at home.
  • Support during life-changing events such as becoming a carer.
  • Helping managers to adopt a more age inclusive approach.
  • Health and wellbeing.
  • Upskilling or reskilling.

The Local Enterprise Partnerships in Coventry and Warwickshire, the Black Country and Greater Birmingham and Solihull are jointly delivering the Government’s Department for Work and Pensions 10-week Mid-Life MOT programme. The three LEPs are delivering this programme alongside the National Careers Service, Public Health England and the Money and Pensions Service.

Take advantage of this FREE webinar on Tuesday 20 April designed to help employers create a resilient and skilled future-directed workforce which includes older people.

FREE PLACES FOR EMPLOYERS CAN BE BOOKED BELOW. Alternatively, please email claire@finditin.co.uk.

You will receive a confirmation email and webinar joining instructions.
