In Detail

The Project is set to create an estimated 400,000 supply chain opportunities, and at peak create around 22,000 jobs which will be vital to the UK economy as we move through this uncertain period.

This interactive event, hosted by HS2 Community and Engagement Director, Julie King, will set out our commitment to playing our part in the recovery, and give you a chance to hear how we are already working with many stakeholders along the route to maximise the impact of the opportunities the project will generate.

Speakers will include our CEO Mark Thurston, and a panel of our contractors who will set out how they are approaching the challenge of driving benefits to local communities.

You will be able to submit questions throughout the event, and we also encourage the submission of questions as part of registration.

We want to make sure we can take on board your thoughts around how we can work together to make the most of the project for local economies.
